MASTER OF SCIENCE PROGRAM
The M.S. Program in Molecular Biology and Genetics consists of a minimum 7 courses and 21 credits, an obligatory non-credit seminar course, and a Master's thesis.

An independent research project under the supervision of a faculty member, through which students gain experience in advanced molecular biology techniques.

An extensive study of advanced topics related to prokaryotic and eukaryotic gene structure and regulation of gene expression, with special emphasis on experimental approaches such as recombiant DNA techniques, cloning vectors, preparation of cDNA and genomic libraries, clone selection and characterization, promoter/enhancer tests.
