The Master of Science Program in Systems and Control Engineering comprises eight courses corresponding to a minimum of 24 credits, a non-credit graduate seminar ( SCO579 ) and a Master's thesis ( SCO690 ). Students enrolled in the program are required to take the indicated number of courses in each of the specialization fields listed below:
- Spec. Field 1 : Computer Systems(CMP) : Two Courses
- Spec. Field 2 : Control Systems and Robotics Courses (CON) : Two Courses
- Spec. Field 3 : Operations Research,Industrial Engineering(OR) : Two Courses
- Elective Courses:Two Courses (with the approval of the Advisor)
- Graduate Seminar(Non-credit) SCO 579
In the graduate program at most two courses can be selected from among the 400-level undergraduate courses of the associated supporting departments.
Applied Mathematics courses may also be counted as courses satisfying the requirement of one of the specialization fields listed above subject to the approval of the advisor. Descriptions of relevant courses are to be found in the respective sections of the related departmental programs namely the programs of the following Engineering departments that support the interdisciplinary SCO engineering program.

Each student must attend any 10 seminars given at the related Engineering Departments. The students must have the Seminar Form signed by the instructor or invited speaker giving the seminar and submit the completed form to the graduate advisor at the end of the semester.

Study of latest developments in the field of System and Control Engineering.
