  Admission conditions to take qualifying exam in the field of Molecular Genetics:
  
  The students who apply for qualifying exam in the field of Molecular Genetics are expected that they have taken the following courses or equivalents:
  
  Bio 351  Introduction to Genetics (or  Gene 365  General and Molecular Genetics),
  Bio 306  Molecular Genetics  (or Gene 366 Molecular Biology of the Gene),
  Bio 423  Recombinant DNA Techniques
  
  In addition to compulsary course, Bio 520 Biometry, 6 elective courses which are necessary for the Biology Ph.D. program should be chosen from field specific elective course lists:
