    M.S. PROGRAMS IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The M.S program is a two year degree course which seeks to provide students with a critical understanding of the issues in International Relations and to develop their research and academic writing skills. It aims to encourage and develop their ability to argue critically and to produce in-depth analyses of the issues within their chosen areas of study. The wide range of elective courses offered by the department enables students to choose from a variety of courses on International Relations theories, area studies and history, according to their own specific fields of interest. The program is aimed both at those who intend to continue their studies in the academic field and at current and future professionals in the private and public sectors.

Applications to the program are taken once a year for the Fall semester only. Admissions are made through a two-tier process i.e. initial review on paper and interviews. Those students short-listed for the interviews are determined after the review of the applications on the basis of the variables such as cumulative grade point average, points taken from LES (Examination for Graduate Study)/GRE etc.

    Fields of Study:
The Department offers seminars and supervision on both theoretical and legal aspects of International Relations and on areas studies such as the Middle East and Europe.
